Who knew a Floeting® Diamond can help save lives

Life Flight's new air ambulance at the annual Life Flight fundraising gala 2022

Life Flight is an iconic local non-for-profit organisation and the work they do for our community is absolutely crucial and inspiring. The team have been saving lives for more than 40 years and provided emergency aeromedical help to more than 40,000 people to date. Whether in their Wellington-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter or their nationwide Air Ambulance service, the crews save lives 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

At The Village Goldsmith, we recognise the importance that the Life Flight service is providing for our community and any help they receive will help the team stay on call, ready to save lives. So it couldn’t be more fitting for us to support this wonderful Wellington-based charity by donating the first Floeting® Eyre Diamond Pendant of a limited edition of 30, a diamond that visually floats in the air.

The Floeting® Eyre Pendant features the new Floeting® Diamond that is suspended in a hand carved disc of black jade. This rare jade is only found in Cowell on the Eyre peninsula in South Australia. The Floeting® Diamond patented shape reveals the diamond in all its glory, showing maximum light return with no impediment of overarching clasps or bezels. Suspended on a fine 18 carat white gold chain and individually numbered.

Life Flight new Air Ambulance- help save more people needing aeromedical service

During the gala evening, The Life Flight team also unveiled their latest air ambulance which will help save even more people who need emergency aeromedical service. And with no surprise, at 1:45am of the event evening, the Life Flight crew were called out to an emergency medical transfer.

100% of the proceeds of this donation went to the Life Flight and we’re proud to say the evening raised $121,250
